Throughout her career she has based her works on the use of video and the installation. Her work uses electronic media such as video, Internet, radio and written media to fuse art with social activism. Her projects encompass areas like: corporate identity, economic and social processes, mass communications and biotechnology. She has been a member of Irational.org since 1998. Her main solo exhibits include: Minerva Cuevas, Van Abbemuseum, Eindhoven (2008), Phenomena, Kunsthalle Basel (2007); On Society, MC Kunst, Los Angeles (2007); Reconstrucción, Casa del Lago, Mexico (2006); Schwarzfahrer Are My Heroes, DAAD, Berlin (2004); Dodgem, Kurimanzutto, Mexico (2002); Mejor Vida Corp, Tamayo Museum (2000). She has also participated in various collective exhibits, such as: Lyon Biennale, France (2007); Sao Paulo Biennale, Brazil (2006); Hardcore, Palais de Tokyo, France (2003); Istanbul Biennale, Turkey (2003).
