Igor Stromajer



Igor Stromajer is a multimedia artist who describes himself as "an intimate mobile communicator". His work comprises 50 projects which have been presented at 100 exhibitions in 50 countries on all continents.
His work „Intima" is a website based on the fictional biography of an astronaut. His best known work are Oppera Internettikka and Ballettikka Internettikka (1997-2006). He has received various awards for his work (Moscow, Hamburg, Dresden, Belfort, and Madrid), and his projects form part of permanent collections in the most prestigious art institutions, including the Centre Georges Pompidou and the National Museum of Modern Art in Paris, the Reina Sofía National Museum of Art in Madrid (MNCARS), the Ljubljana Museum of Modern Art, and the Computerfinearts Gallery - a network of media and an art collection in New York.
