Mapa is presented as an imaginary cartography which serves as an interface for a series of soundtoys. The specialized position of these sound sources invites us to move around the map drawing a path, which in this case is entirely virtual. The only analogue or representational element lies in the map, if the crude abstraction entailed in reducing all the interactions and singularities of a city into a geometric path can be said to be representational. The rest of the experiment, both in its graphic, visual and auditory dimensions, is purely digital, and leads the game to a pure, primeval and almost narcotic state, where the permutability of its basic elements can be experienced.
