We live in a time in which the hypercartography of the world, the obsessive labeling of each spot, advances at a dizzying pace. Tools of control that operate like a filter, like a fishing net through which our subjectivity is lost like the water. Oyarzún takes this to an extreme and shows us a control console and a functional analysis of his own workplace. He allows us to move through the different rooms and corners, viewing the results of this analysis through several windows with photographic images, maps, and data, resulting in a method, a cartographical logic with which we are entirely unfamiliar but in which we can intuit a certain mechanistic obsession that underlies this inspection.
